This is my final upload to my flickr pages for 2008. Thank you everyone for your overwhelming support and enthusiasm for my photographs during the past year. I promise this will be the last photo from my Christmas Day shoot that you will see, but already I am planning many more coastal and water based trips for 2009.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

This is another photo from a photoshoot on Christmas Day. Having had murky skies for days on end, it was a real treat on Christmas Day to see a blue sky appear early afternoon, a quick message to flickr friend Wiffsmiff and before we knew it we had arranged to meet at Dunraven Bay. Unfortunately I arrived just after the sun had disappeared behind that huge bank of cloud and despite waiting for it to reappear in the lighter strip on the horizon, nothing much more happened!

For once I went home reasonably dry, my wellies were wet on the outside only, but the camera received a soaking from a rogue splash which prevented me from taking too many photos as my filters were all salted up.
